At Lakemount, we are always looking for ways to connect people to the Life Changing Presence of Jesus Christ. In Missions we do this through TOUCHING and GOING. As a church we partner with over 25 Global Workers, projects and ministries.
"if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like noonday."
Every believer is called to be a part of missions. To spend ourselves on behalf of those who need to connect with the life changing Presence of Jesus Christ. What does this look like for you? Maybe you feel called to go on a short term missions experience, or maybe you want to partner financially and in prayer with a Global Worker or ministry, or maybe you want to love the less fortunate in our region. God says that when we spend ourselves on behalf of others "then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like noonday." You carry the glory of God with you into these situations, and bring His love, His hope and His saving grace.
Let's change the World together!
We have many different ministries and outreaches that are dedicated to reaching groups of people all over our region. Join us at Love on Hamilton, The Migrant Farm Worker Outreach, Party at the Park, Love Grimsby and more!
Global Workers are like soldiers on the front lines of a fierce battle. They need our prayers! Please remember to pray for our Lakemount Global Workers and join us for Missions Prayer scheduled throughout the year.
Intimacy with God, understanding of the language and culture, opportunities to share the good news and disciple others, protection, financial and relational support, peace, their families and marriages, unity, favour, more workers and fruitfulness.

Love on Hamilton focuses on loving the people of Hamilton in every way we can. We want to see the lost and the broken come to know Jesus and be healed in His presence. There's not one person God's love cannot reach; anyone can be redeemed and forgiven by His grace. Our goal is simply to love, and believing that through our love, they will encounter God.
Meeting time & place:7:30pm Rebecca & John Street. The old Bus station.

There are about 600 Spanish speaking farmworkers in this area who speak little or no English. The are away from families and loved ones for 5-8 months at a time. Some are on a four year contract with two weeks off per year. Typically they work 60-65 hours each week with little interaction with the surrounding community. Each Sunday night, the team at St. Albans Anglican Church in Beamsville, picks up 80-100 workers from the local farms and bring them in for a hot meal, offer refurbished bicycles, clothing, counselling, access to medical care, ESL classes and wifi. These workers are a long way from home and work to support their spouses and families back home. We want to welcome them, accept them into our society and help reduce the isolation that they feel. Our ultimate goal is to have them encounter this life changing Presence of Jesus Christ!
Join the team on Sunday nights at St. Albans in Beamsville with driving, serving dinner or helping with the medical clinic.
If your small group is interested in hosting a dinner at St. Albans contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
There are also opportunities available to drive Caribbean workers to church at Lakemount on Sunday mornings.Details
